 [Honors] 4 Professors Earn the University Distinguished Research Professor Title

    Vice President of International Affair-Prof. Michael Tian-Shyug Lee and Dean-Prof. Pei-Gi Shu from Graduate Institute of Business Administration; and Prof. Yueh-Jen Eric Shao and Prof. Chia-Ding Hou from Department of Statistics and information Science have been officially awarded University Distinguished Research Professor this month. Only 28 professors earn this honor within the whole university.

     

    To be eligible for the University Distinguished Research Professor, the candidate must be a tenured full time professor with one of the following qualifications:

    1. Serve the principal investigator for 15 or more Ministry of Science and Technology projects representing FJCU.

    2. Serve the principal investigator for a publicly or privately owned organization project; or for an industry-university cooperative research project with accumulated funding of NT$25,000,000 or above representing FJCU.

    3. Be the lead author or the corresponding author of accumulatively 20 or more research articles, within the nearest past 5 years, not including the current school year, publishing on indexed journals (scholarly, academic, or peer-reviewed journals) representing FJCU.
