Congratulations to Alumnus Qi-Li Li from the Department of Business Administration for Winning the 2023 College of Management Distinguished Alumni Award and BGS Honorary Membership

The College of Management held an honorary student induction and award ceremony on May 29, where Alumnus Qi-Li Li was honored with the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award. Li has had a successful career at Yongxin Group and is set to become the chairman of Yongxin Pharmaceuticals on July 1. During the ceremony, he encouraged students to develop resilience and a positive mindset, emphasizing the importance of integrity in both personal and professional life.

Starting his career at the grassroots level at Yongxin Pharmaceuticals, Li has held various positions, including Marketing Planning Officer, Director of the Special Sales Department, Manager of the Health Business Division, and is now the Chairman of Yongri Chemical Company. He attributes his success to building trust through integrity and maintaining company values of honesty, pragmatism, and performance, which helped turn the company from loss to profit. He reminded students that integrity is a fundamental character trait for business professionals and an essential personal asset.

Li also encouraged younger students to cultivate resilience, maintain a positive and proactive attitude, and approach tasks not just to "finish" them but to "do them well." He urged them to dream big and take steady, practical steps toward their goals. His brief but impactful speech left a lasting impression on the students, providing them with valuable insights.
