Congratulations to Alumnus Pin-Chun Liao of the Department of International Trade for Receiving the 2023-2024 College of Management Distinguished Alumni Award and BGS Honorary Membership

On June 5, 2024, the College of Management welcomed alumnus Pin-Chun Liao, a distinguished insurance and financial professional in Southern California with over 32 years of experience. Liao, who founded the leading Chinese insurance brand "All People Insurance," has received numerous awards and has been actively involved in philanthropy. He was awarded the College of Management Distinguished Alumni Award and BGS Honorary Membership by Dean Bruce C.Y. LEE during his visit.

Liao has a guiding principle of "Humility, Sincerity, and Non-competition," which has led him to success and allowed him to give back to society. He supports education in remote areas, leads his employees in charitable activities, and serves as a director of several charitable organizations. His contributions to the college include supporting the "Overseas Professional Visits" course and offering internships for students in the United States.

Liao's professionalism and dedication have earned him recognition as a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for 30 consecutive years and a Top of the Table member for 18 years. In 2019, he was the first Chinese broker in New York Life's 179-year history to be inducted into the "Hall of Fame." After receiving his awards at Fu Jen, he was hosted by the Director of the Department of Finance and International Business, Ming-Sung Kao, for a dinner with faculty and alumni.
