College of Management Master's and Professional Master's Graduation Ceremony: President Encourages Graduates to Embrace Seven Soft Skills

The 2023 College of Management Master’s and Professional Master’s Graduation Ceremony was held on June 22 at Zhongmei Hall. The event began with a grand procession led by Father Matthew Hwang, President Vincent Lan, Dean Chien-Yu Lee, and Associate Dean Hong-Shu Fan along with all master program directors.

In a heartfelt ceremony, Father Hwang lit the main candle, symbolizing the transmission of knowledge. President Lan then encouraged graduates to develop seven soft skills: Teamwork, Problem-solving, Communication, Adaptability, Critical Thinking, Time Management, and Work-life Balance, emphasizing the importance of Trust in oneself and one's team.

Since the 2003 academic year, the College of Management has held separate graduation ceremonies for Master's and Professional Master's students. Since 2009, the ceremonies have been combined, with nearly 400 graduates each year. The event at Zhongmei Hall has become a cherished tradition, providing graduates and their families with memorable experiences.
