Origination

Since the foundation of the Graduate School of Business Administration in 2002, the Graduate School has been led by Chairman Deng-Yuan Huang, Chairman Shang Chi Gong Chairman Ming-Hsien Yang ,Chainman Lee, Michael Tian-Shyug and the current Chairman Ben-Chang Shia, in succession. The Graduate School has since expanded from its initial acceptance to 3 graduates during the foundation of school to the current 12 graduates with approval for acceptance in 2002. The school has been gradually flourishing. Whereas the Graduate School of Business Administration was the sole PhD Program during its foundation in 2002, the doctoral program has since been defined as an integrated PhD Program and anticipated to become a PhD Program in both theories and practice. When we look ahead to the 21st Century, the rapid change in social environment, diversity in human values, popularity in political democracy, the rise and fall of the industrial technology, the ever-changing management models, each of the above-mentioned is revealing a whole new look full of variation, risks and challenges, as well as conspicuously leading us to a completely new thinking method. When we are faced with current environment, we are required to posses a leadership of innovative thinking, fearless vitality to explore the human in-depth knowledge in order to instruct the teaching, researching and servicing direction for the College of Management with a clear definition and unique PhD school. This is the sincerest and most genuine commitment which the school has made with macro projection. We will need your full supports for our rooting, responses, vision and commitment.
 
 

Missions

1.To carry out the concept of all-round education: Based on humanistic thinking to establish a complete value system in order to raise the level of an ethical life and to balance the spiritual development for human and materials.
2.Provide a nurturing channel for higher-level management human resources to precipitate the integration of knowledge management and professional skills, in response to the social demand for management decisions, instructions and researching, and human resource database for the industry.
3.Create a cooperation platform for school and the industry to guide research directions with experiences and to reinforce the scope and effects of experience impacts with research.
4.Advocate on knowledge integration and under the principle of respecting academic freedom, form research teams in pursuit of an excellent research performance.
5.Develop in-depth thinking on campus and practical onsite learning culture to implement an educational ideology and studying concept of putting knowledge into action.
6.Shape the ways to diverse social learning in response to a educational trend of adults returning to school, to establish and to pursue a cognitive foundation of college-based knowledge and experiences, in order to refine the social character and position for colleges.
