【Outdoor English Corner｜Internationalization at Home】June 3, 2026

Through an initiative by the College of Management EMI Center, students from Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Poland, Guatemala, and other cultural backgrounds gathered in Yilan for a two-day Outdoor English Corner experience. Among the participants were many students from the International Management MBA (imMBA) program.

Over the two-day trip, students took part in river tubing, ATV rides, archery, BBQs, and conversations under the stars, naturally bringing everyone closer together. Students shared stories about their hometowns, cultures, religions, festivals, and daily life.

In this small global village, countries many students had never visited became more familiar through personal stories and firsthand experiences. English was the bridge for communication, while laughter became a language everyone shared.

At the end of the trip, one participant summed it up perfectly: ''I like the warm vibe.''
