【A good learning environment helps everyone grow together.】May 12, 2026
Recently, Dr. Tu Yi-Ning, Chair of the International Management MBA (imMBA), met with both first-year and graduating students. Although they are at different stages of study, both groups shared a strong sense of community and learning atmosphere within the program.
Studying in an all-English environment takes time to adapt to—from different cultural backgrounds and accents to the fast pace of classroom discussions. Yet after just one semester, first-year students were already comfortable with each other's accents and sense of humor. Among the graduating students, it was also easy to see the growth built over nearly two years through the maturity of their perspectives and discussions.
A strong learning atmosphere naturally pushes everyone forward. As classmates actively participate in discussions and group work, the connections between them continue to grow both inside and outside the classroom.
Through these gatherings, one thing became especially clear: imMBA students are not only hardworking, but also thoughtful and full of ideas.
