What happens when "hard skills" meet a global setting?

Christine Hsu, currently pursuing a dual master's degree at KEDGE Business School in France, was selected as a BGS (Beta Gamma Sigma) member to attend the Global Leadership Summit in Barcelona.

BGS is an invitation-only honor society for top students from AACSB-accredited business schools. Being selected is, in itself, a distinction.

During discussions with student leaders from around the world, she realized that the real difference is not how much you know, but whether you can clearly express your ideas, be understood, and create impact—especially under time pressure.

''Leadership is not about position, but about how precisely you communicate your ideas and influence others.''

The experience also reshaped her understanding of leadership: "A true leader pursues excellence while never forgetting to give back and support others.''

From classrooms in France to a global forum in Barcelona, this experience strengthened both her resilience and global perspective— one she would encourage fellow students to pursue.
