【College-wide Faculty Forum and Teaching Experience Sharing Meeting】

The College-wide Faculty Forum and Teaching Experience Sharing Meeting was successfully concluded on Wednesday, December 31, in a warm and enriching atmosphere of exchange. We sincerely thank all faculty members and colleagues for taking the time to participate, jointly reflecting on the achievements of the past semester and looking ahead to future directions for development.

The event opened with a pre-meeting prayer led by Father Austin O’Sullivan, offering blessings for the forum. During the meeting, several students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) projects, as well as national and international competitions. Heartfelt appreciation was also extended to the faculty for their dedicated guidance, with continuous applause filling the venue.

A special guest, Director Cheng-Chi Lee of the Center for Sustainable Development and Institutional Research, delivered a featured presentation titled “A Century of Fu Jen, a Hundred Impacts.” Beginning with an overview of SDG impact rankings, the talk highlighted Fu Jen Catholic University’s strengths in sustainability and its growing international influence.

Dean Mei-Chu Huang expressed her gratitude to all faculty members for their commitment and contributions throughout the semester, and outlined the College’s key development priorities and future vision. From enhancing teaching quality to strengthening research capacity, she articulated a clear blueprint for the continued advancement of the College of Management.

The concluding session, “Outstanding Teaching Performance Awards – Teaching Reflections,” featured a series of insightful sharing sessions by faculty members, offering valuable perspectives from the classroom.

The session opened with Professor Hsia-Hou Hsin-Peng, whose presentation was both engaging and practical.

This was followed by Professor Pi-Hui Chung from the Department of Business Administration, who spoke on “A Human-Centered Teaching Journey: Starting from Understanding and Turning Learning into a Path of Growth.”

Professor Chiu-Li Huang from the Department of Accounting then shared her experiences under the theme “Exploring Professional Ethics Education.”

The diverse teaching insights provided rich takeaways for all participants and brought the event to a successful and memorable close.
