The Ministry of Science and Technology has announced the approved list for the 2024 academic year’s college student research projects, with Fu Jen Catholic University passing 70 projects—13 more than last year, marking nearly a fourfold increase since 2020. The College of Management passed 19 projects, a 1.5 times increase from last year, showcasing outstanding performance.
The College Student Research Project evaluates the importance of the research topic, feasibility of research methods and steps, the student’s academic performance in relevant disciplines, and the academic research and guidance capabilities of the supervising professor. Students not only have the opportunity to conduct in-depth research on topics of interest but also receive monthly subsidies from the Ministry of Science and Technology, providing them with further opportunities to explore their research interests.
The recognition from the Ministry of Science and Technology is a testament to the students' dedication to their research topics and the attentive guidance from their professors. This type of learning equips students with skills beyond the classroom, better preparing them for future graduate studies or careers. The College of Management has seen an annual increase in the number of selected projects, and we extend our gratitude to the faculty for their guidance and congratulations to the selected students.
